Quote:1.2 - Cheating or exploiting game mechanics is not allowed. This can include 'multiboxing' (logging in with multiple characters at the same time), disconnecting during player encounters, abusing bugs, etc.
Consequences:
We've received reports regarding you deciding to F1 and disconnect in space to cheat death. This is strictly forbidden as per rule 1.2. We've also received evidence of you doing the same thing prior, indicating a pattern of behaviour instead of an isolated incident.
You've been around long enough to know better and therefore after lengthy discussion, staff have decided to impose a 2-week ban. Additionally, we've placed a permadeath notice upon the infringing ship, the Santa-Trinidad. The next time this ship explodes inRP (so, excluding Conn), it will be lost. Whoever happens to kill it next (within the rules) may send proof to us so we know. You may not move any equipment off of the ship either as we will see it and the ship will be deleted.
Lastly, we have noticed an influx of reports from you with little to no grounds for them, which is unacceptable as it wastes everyone's time.
If you require evidence, you may request such via PM from a Staff member. Only the accused or an official faction leader of the accused person's faction may request such. Once you have the evidence, and if you wish to dispute it, you may post in the Sanction Thread below. Do not continue PM'ing a staff member, as that will result in your Appeal being denied. If you PM a staff or post in the sanction thread and you are not directly involved, you are consenting to be subjected to the reprisal of my choice which may involve in game repercussions up to a ban. Blaming members of your immediate family, neighbors, friends, pets, and assorted Orcs, Trolls and any other legendary creatures may result in the use of Admin Right #CTE 750AE
After reviewing your appeal, it has been decided to reduce the sanction to the initial 2 week ban, and a fine of some equipment from the Santa-Trinidad.
We suggest that in the future, you wait for the actual death screen before disconnecting to be safe.
