♦ Description: It's no secret Kusari and Liberty are starting to gear up for war, with tensions at an all time high there is plenty of opportunities for glory and loot for those proactive enough to claim it. Recently the Liberty Security Force has been supplying the Kusari underworld with a wide variety of weapons, they figure the more trouble Kusari has from its locals, the less likely they will be to start a war.

The Kusari Office of Intelligence is starting to suspect something however, we believe they are going to launch a counteroperation to put an end to the LSFs efforts. Needless to say there are many that don't want to let this gravy train end so soon, these arm shipments are a breath of fresh air for the Kusari underworld after having to make due for so long.

Your job is to get out there and make sure the convoy gets through safely so it can keep up the shipments, but more importantly they can't fall into the hands of the Intelligence Office or the Naval Forces. If it looks like they're going to be arrested and it's unlikely you can spring them, take them out. No witnesses leaves deniability and deniability might result in some future efforts from Liberty after all.

Expect heavy resistance, the government is practically drooling at the thought of catching Liberty in the act.

With the destruction of the convoy the lawful side managed to capture several escape pods, though the ships mute captain managed to avoid this tragic fate, the prisoners were taken to Heavens Gate for questioning. Meanwhile the Kusari underworld managed to destroy one of the undercover operatives, preventing them from being captured while also seeing Sukoshi.Akuma safely evacuated from the clutches of the Naval Forces.

As a result both sides are considered to have completed their 'bonus objective' conditions and participants can claim their rewards accordingly via a report MD as mentioned in the "Mission Objective and Rules"

Throughout the response towards a large mobilization of the Kusari Military, I responded alongside a number of others. I managed to shadow one of the vessels until locating the convoy in Honshu at the New Tokyo jump gate. I was not immediately aware that this was the indicated convoy but it slowly became clear by the overwhelming military response. In enough time, the Naval Forces began to prepare to move this convoy out and I, alongside Blood Dragon allies and a hired Freelancer Jackhammer, engaged the military and the convoy as it was clear at this moment a direct battle could not be won and we had to be surgical about our strikes.

As we engaged the Naval Forces ships, I noticed the convoy and a few escorts made it through the jump gate. With Jackhammer, we went through the gate and attempted to intercept the convoy and destroy the transport, however the escorts were reinforced after I presume the initial battle ended and contact was lost with the Dragon Cruiser Fist.of.Chugoku. Utilizing delaying tactics as a larger battle broke out with more Dragon reinforcements arriving, we lost track of the convoy and scoured New Tokyo. One of our reinforcing vessels spotted them at distance in Kyushu and likely burning south for Shikoku. To confirm this, I followed but did not find the convoy until using the jump anomaly towards Shikoku. A massive Naval Forces formation had surrounded the convoy and there were too few of us.

Having lost their patience, the Naval Forces themselves opened fire on the convoy transport as our reinforcements were arriving, and we threw ourselves into the fray. After the transport was destroyed, I later learned one of the escort ships escaped, but a number of Naval Forces vessels escaped. Those that remained behind were destroyed. After returning to Noshima, I found the remaining escort ship still intact. They mentioned returning to Planet Denver, confirming suspicions I had.

As for the fate of the transport crew, I am insure. The heat of battle in that moment was tense, but all Naval Forces attackers that remained after we're destroyed. Despite sustaining heavy damage, I managed to remain in combat to the end, although no images remained from my damaged ship camera. Thankfully, audio recording from the blackbox is intact and attached.

While it is unfortunate the transport was lost, at least some managed to escape thanks to your efforts. Not to mention the Naval Forces will no doubt feel the bruises they received from their operation for some time. Our journey began from Ainu.
The Oppressor was fed our wrath.
We weep for those we lost.
Their spirits light our path.

Many had fallen already, and our departure was late. Leaving Ainu, we proceeded into Kyushu, moving swiftly to catch our prey. We caught sight of our targets north of the Hayate, with assumed travel to Shikoku to evade detection. This, it seemed, was not merely our presumption.
Entering the Saiun, scanner was filled with contacts. Military oppressors and the convoy alike, we kept at distance, alerting our sisters and brothers of the locale. As they joined, the enemy commander pressured their formation to eliminate the convoy and its escorts, prompting quick action.

Fighting was swift, but not bloodless. A brother in arms, one of the Dragons, met a terrible end at the hands of the false Emperor's lackeys. In a frenzy, our remaining strength was focused like a lance, and likely prompted the withdrawal of a number of the Naval Forces' ships in the direction of Ohashi. Those who did not flee were sent to the Goddess.
The lead ship of the convoy was lost quickly after the oppressors engaged. Only after our victory did we learn of one survivor who had escaped to Noshima. With the last of the Imperial lackeys eliminated, no threat remained to the last escort or their accomplice they managed to secure.

We were not made aware of the cargo lost aboard the transport, nor the fate of its captain. It is possible the sister the survivor mentioned was the one in question, otherwise we can only hope they were spared a horrible fate themselves.
