Intelligence Report

Captain/Pilot Name - R. Hall

Vessel Name - Watchkeeper 351

Subject - Nomad Worlds Exploration

Transmission - After countless attempts, we have finally passed into the Nomad Worlds with one of the drones. We have sustained damage, but it is marginal, and remains fully operational. While we have not reached our eventual goal, this is the furthest we have made it without interference nor technical issues.

While the Watchkeeper is recalibrating for the next set of jumps, we will be scouting the system. We know very little about the structures and make up of it, for example a dense gas cloud has been observed which was not known to us. I'll report more when we have processed the information being sent back.

Intelligence Report

Captain/Pilot Name - R. Hall

Vessel Name - Watchkeeper 351

Subject - Order Vessel Contact

Transmission - Watchkeeper 351 has finally, graciously, completed its primary directive. It has made contact, and relayed a message to an Order vessel operating in the Omicrons, specifically Kappa. With the long signal delay, we estimate that this interaction happened sometime in the early hours this morning, but cannot be sure due to the interference.

What will happen next? We are unsure at this present time, no reply was received, but we cannot be certain that one wasn't sent by the vessel. We aren't even sure what kind of vessel it was, the data stream is garbled at best. All we can deduce is that the vessel was of Order identification, named the Qetesh and underway at the time. We will keep you updated with any further progress. A wideband transmission is being drafted as a follow up, should this succeed.

Watchkeeper 351 was successfully terminated in the atmosphere of Planet Gammu, one of a pair of planets, leaving our trace to a minimum.

Intelligence Report

Captain/Pilot Name - H. Jones

Vessel Name - K - Basilisk

Subject - The Reds Are Coming

Transmission - Information has been passed to a former Knight of Bretonia who holds this house dearly to their heart. While their views are not aligned with the Crown, quite frankly, whose are these days, I have seen fit to share information that may save more Bretonian lives, be they inhabitants of Dublin, or New London. The information, was certainly a hard pill to swallow, the Reds are planning to take Dublin for themselves. Hence my rash decision.

While the information source may hold little fruit, in the aid of Bretonian civilians it is better to act on whispers, than do nothing at all. For their sakes I hope it isn't true.

A storm is brewing. One we must quell.

Together.

Intelligence Report

Captain/Pilot Name - R. Hall

Vessel Name - Watchkeeper 351

Subject - Intermittent Contact

Transmission - Continuing on from my last report, we are receiving intermittent signals from Watchkeeper 351, even after crashing down into the atmosphere of an uninhabited planet.

If I could take a guess, these are merely echoes sent by 351 before its destruction, however my colleagues are not so sure. The signals... They're strange, almost feeling? I know this sounds ludicrous, but it's almost as though 351 is reaching out and trying to communicate with us in a way that it was never designed to. Again, I don't believe it. However it has piqued my interest. This is far beyond anything it was meant to do, as I've said. It was a simple C5 Scanner Drone modified for our operations.

While we know very little yet, this is getting passed up the chain, hopefully the boffins in Cambridge will be able to make heads or tails of this. Because we don't. Hell, it's stupid to think these signals are live. You know what, I'll submit this report, but take it as no more than speculation.

One of our drones? Alive? Utter bollocks. 351 is nothing more than a smear on the surface of Gammu.

Intelligence Report

Captain/Pilot Name - F. Harper

Vessel Name - K - Basilisk (Shared Command)

Subject - Craster Nebula Breach

Transmission - We've had an encounter with an unknown vessel in the Craster Nebula, beyond the Verwood. While performing a training exercise with a new officer, the Lady Vic picked up strange signals coming from close to Darlington. Welkin and Allers were despatched to investigate it. Initial scans came back with some strange readings, certainly something I've never seen before. While the Lady Vic was evacuated from the area to preserve her sensitive material, further units were called in from patrols to assist.

Being the closest asset, I took command of the Basilisk and headed straight to the cordon. Initially everything seemed clear, however further comms from Welkin and Allers proved concerning. The unknown vessel had dropped down into the atmosphere of Darlington where it was still being pursued. Taking the Basilisk through the upper atmosphere I was met with a very strange sight. Using the more powerful scanners aboard the Basilisk, I captured the following scan of what we will now designate as ENTITY-DL-001.

As we were running scans and trying to ascertain what on earth this vessel was, it seemed to become gaseous then charge towards friendly vessels. Momentarily losing it on scanners it was replaced with what I can only assume to be an equivalent to our gunboat class vessels. This new threat engaged us with beam type weapons, something I have personally not seen. While Allers took the brunt of its fire, Welkin and the Basilisk were able to destroy it after a short scuffle. The whole engagement was captured on guncam.

With the threat neutralised, Welkin was concerned that this entity may have come from the research station, so we dove through the atmospheric storm, deeper into Darlington. Besides various control issues on the Basilisk due to the conditions, our small force approached the station, which we found to be intact and completely unaware of the issues we had been having above.

I would like to say this is where this report ends, however the whole situation got stranger. Undocking from Sunderland was a large Kruger transport. While our initial thought was to engage this vessel too, being within the restricted area, we couldn't be sure it was real. After what had just happened with the entity, we were all suffering strange effects. We decided it best to escort the Kruger transport out of the atmosphere, and the nebula beyond. While the weapons platforms were engaging this strange Kruger, it didn't seem to be taking any damage and continued out of the nebula... Where it disappeared? Almost as quick as it appeared, it faded into nothing.

Myself, the crew of the Basilisk, Welkin and Allers will all surrender ourselves for psychiatric evaluation to further understand the effects of contact with the Entity.

Intelligence Directive

Captain/Pilot Name - J. Fairfax

Vessel Name - Lady Victoria

Subject - Urgent Redirection

Transmission -

Officers,

Given the last report from Darlington, I am hereby chartering a vessel from Cambridge Research Station to dive deep into the Omicrons, looking for further hints at how to combat these ever-growing threats. The vessel will be crewed entirely by civilians who will be vetted by my staff.

These lifeforms must not be given a chance to ensnare Bretonia. We will do what we have to, to combat this growing threat.

Patrols are being doubled around the Craster Nebula, while the BAE has been informed to keep watch for any further incursions.

Stay safe out there, you are Bretonia's shield.

Fairfax out.

Intelligence Report

Captain/Pilot Name - R. Hall

Subject - Growing Concerns

Transmission -

I send this report to you knowing that I should have listened to my colleagues. Knowing I should have listened to my heart. We all deduced it was coming. The data was all there, neatly compiled, ready for me to listen. But did I? No. Pride got in the way of that. Ignorance maybe.

Today at 0651ST we received a strong signal from Watchkeeper 351. It stated ["Alive?"] then fizzled to nothing. What does this really mean? It's anyone's guess. We simply do not know enough to say decisively, but if I were to bet money on it, there was some monkey business going on when we flew it into Gammu.

Officially I'd suggest sending an expedition, but I also know how thinly we are spread. Recovery is our best bet at truly understanding what on earth has happened to 351. Given the funding we might be able to send some freelance individuals to collect samples for us. But as with anything, this takes time.

I'll continue to update the Director, but without eyes on, I don't see how this will play out in our favour.

Saying that, we could possibly risk another Watchkeeper...

Subject - Smoking Dreams

Transmission -

I'm going to be frank in this one. This last batch of orders coming down from the Crown are utter bullshit. We all know it. I'm glad we have better things to do than listen to a spoilt brat sat on a fancy chair. In this day and age, why are we listening to someone who only cares about gold and riches? We need to think of Bretonia, of our sodding people. Haven't they suffered enough?

Aliens, right on our doorstep. Does anyone but us give a damn? No. We need to start worrying about the real problems, not whether Her Majesty's crown is shiny enough.

I'm sorry, but the whole situation is simply frustrating. No one trusts us, not even our own people. Not because of our actions, but the actions of a pompous moron, and our forefathers.

Fairfax is right you know, we are on our own. If no one else is going to stand up and do the right thing, it must be down to us.

We're few in number, but we'll prevail.

We'll do the right thing, even if that means breaking a few eggs to get there.
