Karl.JP is my character name and i found out about Discovery while youtubing.
i started playing Freelancer with HD before Discovery so i can get used to the game mechanics again but mostly for the Lore which i forgot a lot of things over the years.
I am not sure which role i want to play as with my character in Discovery yet, i guess il find out once im done with the campaign in HD mod but i will also be looking for nice groups to play with.
You can always check the navmap from Player Utilities if you somehow get lost in random system. On the map you can find battlezones/encounters you can go and fight the NPCs there for rare drops and for fun
With the latest patch there a few dangerous newly added systems you can visit (i still havent). Maybe some of the other guys on the forum can give a tip on those

If u want to test things out there is one path to get to know all while having the training wheels on
They almost like freelancers
But they get to fly cool battleships too and can dock 5k transport ships outside house space
Or get liberty Heavy Frigate and help a pirate or two in his quest searching for God.
