It’s been quite a while since I last set foot in Sirius. I used to be one of the co-founders of Platinum Inc., back when we had a solid operation running in the Alberta system. From what I can tell, Alberta seems to be gone now — or maybe I’m just misreading the map?
Recently, I made the jump from Windows to Linux, and figured I’d test whether Discovery Freelancer could run smoothly on openSUSE. After some tweaking and setup, I got it working — and the moment I launched into space, I was hooked again. Been flying, trading, and mining here and there ever since.
Still deciding which faction to officially align with. I’ve been reading up on the lore and catching up on what’s changed. It’s a lot to take in, and I don’t have nearly as much free time as I did back in 2013 — life, work, and a kid now. But I’m grateful to everyone who keeps Discovery alive. This game means a lot to me and brings back memories of a less stressful time in my life.
I also have another forum account, Washizuka, which I used for non-Platinum-related RP and projects.
See you out there in the void.
Bonus: You can click my signature to hear the Platinum Inc. anthem — once I get around to fixing the signature, thats it !

Thanks for the plug. We are now USC - some of the same people under a freshly tailored but similar banner!
