I have been informed that a transport vessel bearing your mark, the (\^/)Ambrax, was intercepted today within the Alsterfield-Westerwald restricted zone in Frankfurt carrying illegal munitions of Unioner origin.

Out of appreciation for our past good relations, we were lenient and merely confiscated the illegal cargo and released the vessel under its own recognizance at Alster Shipyard. We would prefer our relations to continue being good - I hope that steps are taken to ensure such potential misunderstandings do not happen again.

Greetings Mr Siegfried,

That is troubling news. As soon as the captain returns to the Omicrons, we’ll investigate what led to this incident. Please accept our sincere apologies for the breach of law, and forward any fines so we can settle them promptly. We’ve reiterated to all captains that House laws must be observed without exception, and reminded them to avoid restricted areas unless under the most extreme emergencies.

Regarding the route in question: the standard run should have been Niobium/Iridium to Akutan, followed by Deuterium to Livadia or Ablative Armor to Sparta Complex. This deviation is highly unusual. I suspect the captain may have been coerced into this, offloading Iridium or Niobium and purchasing munitions at that “Pacifica” base. And, in a rush to escape, attempted to shortcut through the Alsterfeld–Westerwald cordon.

This may align with reports of renewed Unioner activity in the Bering sector. I’ll also inquire with Bristol, given they construct our Bulwarks; any disruption to that supply chain would hamper our stance against the Corsairs.

We have limited intelligence on the Unioners. If you’re able to share any information, that would greatly assist our internal review and help prevent a recurrence.
