I cannot do this. The only way I can get my spyglass through a trade lane is a good 15K running start, dead flat and dead straight. Is there a way to dock with the upper portion?
So..as an unlawful..why should you take a battleship through a tradelane...tradelanes have sensors, which monitor any ship that goes by, do you know the whole house to know you are using them?
Maybe you should just answer his question that he so kindly deigned to ask?
Ignore the others; the answer is, you need to hit F3 to dock, and the spyglass will automatically change course to the sector it will dock with, from then, just go onto mouse flight and stop a bit before the sector, then dock. Semi-quickdock for a battleship.
Ok maby I am just losing it in my old age, but don't you mean he needs to press F3? F2 will just take him to the middle of the lane where as F3 will attempt to auto dock hence sending him to the correct ring then he can cancel auto dock and line up manualy.

I've been mildly miffed by one-shot weapons since their implementation, oh so long ago. I remember the days when fights were a matter of who could aim better, rather than who could aim a single shot. - Virus

I believe Sindroms was referring to the fact that "F2" makes you enter cruise mode. Where as Severe probably just made a typo.
