Minister of Culture and Tourism - Kazu Hoang
Shogun Ikeda Yamato-dono, and the Office of the Admiralty
I greet you as the Honored Father-consort of Kazu, Kazu Hoang. I bring, with haste, account of the Summit of the Houses, as attended and attested by my wife, Honored Mother and head of Kazu, Kazu Kumano. I bring this directly, not by way of the myriad of public servants, as their desire to soften blows and save face will surely weaken the will of Kusari to do what must be done.
The statement:
Account of the Summi Wrote:I attended, and was greeted with open doors. Within those opened doors were closed ranks, closed minds, and closed hearts. Rheinland and Liberty seemed to have struck an agreement against us long before the Summit was even a concept. Bretonia cared only for their fear of the Gaul, but at the very least seemed willing to negotiate so long as that fear was addressed. I am proud to have overseen such a waste of time in the stead of one of higher standing.
On behalf of Kazu, I offer the forces we can muster of the Owari family. With the blessing of the Shogun, I will begin the full and unrestricted mobilization of the Owari family's augments, alongside a mandate to generate a form of augment that is more usable by those who do not dedicate their life training to resist and control the sensation of divinity that comes with these augments. The strength of Kazu, Katsuherabo, Owari, Igarashi, and Ogasawara is at the call of the Shogunate and the Emperor at all times. Whatever is required will be given.

Minister.
Your esteemed wife honors us with her dedication to the New London Summit. It is an unfortunate twist of events we are now facing. Complementary reports issued by the Special Secretary and Kojirou-san already reached my desk.
The Empire stands alone. Old and new adversaries are drafting plans to surround us and I am reminded of the Colony Wars. The Gas Miner Guild will fail to act as adequate buffer, they are already faltering to criminal groups and their pressure. Too far went their focus on nothing but the credit. Rheinland's cooperative course with the Republic and the Gallic Union represents an undeniable challenge. The new Kaiser is looking weak in the domestic theatre and whereas the democratic elements might attempt to stop them, them lashing out against the Gas Miner Guild or even us can no longer be ruled out. The Gallic state will fulfill their threats and pour into the Taus once more, for they too are disrespected by their own people and urgently seek an excuse to maintain their domestic influence. Our Bretonian friends are incapable of aid, too much are they still struggling with the aftermath of the Gallic War. Yet they will be indispensable in the Tau theatre, so will be the Crayterians despite the latter's crystal clear reliance on Liberty. The fearmongering Libertorians perceived us as a threat for centuries, the Kishiro Drive simply acts as the perfect excuse. The Roppongi Affair, however, is quite troubling and the Shogunate will voice its support for an investigation following the new findings shared by the Republic.
Minister, you may activate your family's reserves. The Owari and who else can be mustered to defend the realm. The Empire will enter a state of war, albeit undeclared as to avoid economic panic. The Imperial Guard will be granted its war time privileges and the Ashuradō Division will be activated. Protocol Yatagarasu and Protocol Harae enter phase one. KOI wartime protocols will be put into effect. All civil sector related protocols will be initiated to start-up phases. Tokubetsu Kōgekitai Divisions will be activated and set on heightened standby.
The Republic tries their hardest to render a military confrontation inevitable. Whereas we do not believe the CNS in regards to the people responsible, the assassination of Kaigun Gensui Okamoto is too convenient and we're facing voices pushing for war on the streets already. The Empire must be prepared for the worst, for I am afraid we're potentially facing an existential threat not too different from the height of the Colony Wars.
Long live the Emperor. Long live Kusari. Long live its people. Shogun Ikeda Yamato
