Ok guys , so my computer as of late has been pissing me off ... quite a darned lot. Whenever i play FL ( and may i add , ONLY FL , cause all other games dont seem to do this) my computer shuts down. Its not like , imediatelly or anything. Sometimes it takes ages to happen , others it happens 2-3 times in a row. Its really bloody annoying. It just turns off for no reason whatsoever... No Blue Screen of Death , no bug report afterwards , no nothing ...

I have an idea of what it might be though. The weather here has been extremelly hot the last couple of days , which coincides with the crashes. Maybe the computer is overheating and shutting down ? I dunno...

What do you guys think ?

Temperature, PSU could be anything.

Start with your machine specs.
Download HWBech from here
CPU-Z from here
and Prime95 from here

Start HW Bench & CPU-Z and then start Prime95 with threads = number of cores/cpus.
Run it for 45 minutes and check your temps on the machine using HWBench

Freelancer, and only freelancer, used to overheat my system like crazy. Is your tower sitting on the ground? Sticking mine on a table to improve airflow solved the problem for me.

that will work for a bit untill the cpu of video card dies under the heat. I suggest leaving the side panel open and put a small fan near it to help untill you buy a 120mm fan to add to the case or what ever you want to do
