Need help making a gif

[Virus]

Okay, so.. Basically, I want to make a gif of this video:

That's converted from an .avi file in DoWII (...\GameAssets\Data\Movies\portraits\speech_marine_gordian.avi).

Okay, so. I try to load this .avi into VLC; works fine (with a warning I clicked past real quick <_<)
Load it into Windows Media; does not work.
So I try loading it into Microsoft Gif Animator and it won't open.
I've tried converting to flash and back, but that didn't help (which is... pretty obvious).

So... Help? D:
Either explain how to make it work (preferably, so I can do it again in the future) or get a gif version for me?

Download Super. It can convert just about any media format into any other media format. Including videos into Gifs (And the best part is it's free. Though the website is a pain to navigate and the programs interface is a little overwhelming at first).

But be warned, converting videos into gifs is a very memory intensive process. If you don't have a good PC I wouldn't recommend doing it. When my internet cap resets in a few days time I'll be happy to do it for you and upload it.
