Alright, simple question, with an Unofficial, would you need to pay the 500 million, or is that just to become official? Also, would an unofficial faction be able to do a writeup? Just for clarification. Thanks.

The 500 million credits you only need if you're going to submit an official faction request.
If you have an unofficial faction, you can make an introduction/description/writeup thread in the Factions Section.
Note:
Do NOT try to recruit in there, it should be just to give people an idea who you are. Recruiting on the forums is allowed only for official factions.
Also, do note in your post that it's not an official faction request.
