Wouldn't it make the game more realistic to have Battle Groups, like a group of one battleship, two destroyers/cruisers/battlecruisers, four gunboats, and x number of fighters and bombers?
They exist in real life in Navies around the world, normally named after someone or something like that, e.g. Peter Thompson Battle Group.
Make specific groups for specific raids instead of just saying to everyone who's online "FOLLOW ME!! WERE RAIDING GAMMA IN FULL FORCE AGAIN!" Would the Outcasts really risk it all for a slim chance of breaking through Cretes defences with every single ship they have. They would send a fleet of ships yes, but not every single ship they have.
I'm hoping to have Battle Groups to increase role-play on the server and teach some people who have capital ships who aren't very good at role-playing how to role-play.

Making battlegroups for every specific thing ingame would cost players a phuckton, credit wise and time wise. Though I see your point, I don't think its of any real importance. Although some player factions do have 'squads' (For example RoS.)
