I remember a quick forum nearly two years ago. Then Disco forum site became lame and lamer. Since one week its one of the lamest sites, i ever reached.:(

I dont know, some threads are made about these, one from me. Igiss pays for the forum server, thats the answer always.:rtfm:

We see a lot of advertising everywhere we go, in streets, TV, Radio and print media. Not here, what a peaceful place. Not here, but: Why not here? Seriously, i love the fact of "no-advertising", but i would also love to see a better connection to forums. In the last 8 days i have had 2 days of no (or nearly no) forum access.

Possible solution:

Why not add advertising?

Maybe a lil bit, maybe more. Discuss! Say something constructive or just flame me for that idea.

Please God, NO! Any sort of advertising is going to be graphics. Which will inevitably slow the forum down even more.

I think we need a new, fresh and more capable forum layout. This one is too old and cannot sustain the current load. We need a donation system set up, so people can effectively contribute, in order to improve Discovery.

I think it's just the right time for such a change, don't you all think ?

P.S: I took me 10 minutes to post this, due to the forum acting up.

Not, if the $ gets invested in server capacities. And if that bill is correct. Can we earn enough $$ with advertising for a larger and/or quicker forum?
