OK guys, most of my problems have been ironed out with the whole filming and editing thing except for the aspect ratio's of certain things. I have footage mixed with still images and while I have unticked "Maintain Aspect Ratio" in Sony Vegas (which appeared to make it the correct size) but once I had rendered it out the still images fill the entire area (720,576) and don't match up with the black bars of the filmed footage.
I have tried using the aspect ratio function in After Effects but that doesn't seem to have made any effect.
Keyframing a change in height is a final option if nothing can be done as it will no doubt not work properly and look horrible.

Any help would be appreciated!
