Thoughts? Instead of having the idea spammed by every forsaken individual whod ever wanted to be a BHG Capspam Statistic, give the ID the usual player faction limitation? Recruitment for such a faction wouldnt be closed, restricted etc, just limited in numbers.
Only ask about it cause since I've started playing Marcel Touvier, i've seen other people interested in the idea or heard about others wanting to do the same. So it gave me the idea of expanding it into a faction.
Edit: The thread is here instead of Factions thread since it involves possibly new ID and new ships.
Edit 2: The use of Non Civillian Equipment (to include Musketoon, Grand Culverin, and Gallic Royal Ship Lines) is well.... due to the fact they work solely for the Gallic Royalty, going after bounties posted by Gallic Royal Navy/Police. Corse Bounties? Say they have trouble with some other unlawful moving in on their turf, they can now opt to bribe someone to take him/her out.
Edit 3: Necessary changes made, as noted in post 9
Well, it kind of depends on the junker him/herself. Gallic Junker might be dealt with in a more friendly manner. Sirian Junker, as RP dictates, have lost the truth of their origins. So Sirian Junkers coming to Gallia would have to be reminded of their place in Gallia.
The unfriendly status is a mix of them being lawful within Gallia, and them being of Sirian Origins.
Theres a problem with using Freelancer / Merc ID. They can't pirate, they can't offer the hostile they encounter the idea of bribing away the hunter.
Which is why currently I use GRP ID, but the issue with that is people constantly call me a cop.
Sirian Junkers i'd say would stay unfriendly (take note that Unfriendly doesnt mean Hostile, and only attacked if its necessary) Not even Gallic Royals are too friendly to em.
And of course its completely separate to the BHG.....
Junkers are Junkers, you can't separate Gallic from otherwise in this mod. You'd have to play the GBH as Lawful friendly, which includes the Junkers. Same as Traders, they're on the lawful side too.
Sounds like you're really trying to make a new type of pirate to me, and that has nothing to do with hunting bounties.
@Tybalt & Reav: After some discussion on GRN Skype, Gallic Corps might gain some relief knowing they wont be bothered.
@Rogue: Ok so you can't have a Kusarian Freelancer and a Bretonian Freelancer fight each other for being on opposite warring sides? Because they're both Freelancers?
RP Dictates a characters origin. That said, Junkers -can- be separated into Sirian and Gallic Origins.
Sirian Traders and Ships will remain as piratable ("offered the chance to bribe the hunter away"). Sirian Junkers will remain unfriendly. Gallic Junkers will be neutral, leaning towards friendly status. Gallic Corporations will be friendly. Independant Gallic Traders..... Debatable.
