The Firefly doesn't really 'feel' anything but Whedonish to me, a badly textured Whedonish.

As much as I've loved flying my Firefly for the past year, it is an import. All imports are being replaced eventually, every last one of them, if we made exceptions for the Firefly it wouldn't be fair on those people who's other favourite imports got replaced.
Ignore anyone who tells you to stop trying to replace it Turkish, you're doing a good job with it.

At least leave it and change its name or move it somewhere that's not within the houses.

Are we a community of players or not? Don't ignore our requests ... at least take our comments into consideration. This is not one person's personal play place. Nighthawk ... you've got no right to shut anyone down when it comes to discussions such as this.

I agree imports change things around here ... so do ships and ID's reserved for special groups and individuals. Any and all ships, ID's and reputations on this mod should be available for any and all ... with the only exception being admins. Keepers, Coalition, Phantoms, Interspace, Interspace NeuralNet Division, Wild and Colonial Remnant all have their own "private" ID's and special ships that nobody else is allowed to have unless they are members of those "private" factions. Not to mention the Colonial Remnant flies the "Battlestar" and other "Battlestar Galactica" imports ... and the "Colonial Remnant" name comes from that genre. So getting rid of this group of ships (since they all must go) will destroy their RP which has been here for well over a year or so.

So ... when do I get to buy my Phantom ID and repfix my way to being a Phantom? When pigs fly right?

Feel free to start any of those discussions, but this is a thread about a proposed Firefly model replacement and possible infocard edits.

You're entirely right though, you have full freedom to express how you feel. And if you'd read through this thread you would have noticed how I commented on taking in everyone's opinions and would be revising my plans based on the thoughts that followed.

But no, I'm not going to abandon the Firefly because some hardcore fans want to be Mal.
