Rednecks. That's what they have been branded and the image is partly due to actions and name choices etc. by the Xenos themselves.

BUT if you read about them they are unemployed people from all walks of life who lay the blame of their situation at the feet of the foreign companies. Sure there are lot of blue-collar people in their ranks but it's not limited to them.
