In that context I'm going to assume Desert Storm is either a game or a character. No to both.

For the Core.

If that would be true you wouldn't be complaining like this all the time.

Double that, which is what I ask, is still only 400k-1m. Do you know how many people have accepted that in the two months I have been doing it? None. The only person who ever came close was one of the Vagrant Raider Warlords, which then lead to a hilarious and epic balanced fighter battle of some fifteen people.

Yup. Disco is lain upon a solid foundation of hypocrisy and double standards.

*coughs*

Uh, what do you mean by accepted?

And I think I was in that fight. The one between the NY JG and the Alcatraz Ice Field (Don't remember the name) ? That was fun:P

Bounty Hunters are almost necessary due to the excessive numbers of unlawfuls.

Let not thy weeds grow too tall.

If a pirate sees a lone Bounty Hunter come for him, the chances are that it is a) experienced, b) calling others, c) in it for the thrill. The pirate checks the name, while heating up their cruise engine, decides whether to try it or not, and goes from there.

Stoat is a good example, he and I have eyeballed one another over the months but we've never come to actually fight. For one thing, when he meets me I am usually handing out a little pain to corsairs, but it's also down to our chats. On Mag there's a grudging respect for Stoat, he is a rather worrying gent, and on Pato... well, Pato just likes the guy. Pato's sweet. Defense mechanism, it's hard to kill that which is sweet.

Now with Stoat it's all RP between us, but there's still that hint of danger, the chance that greed or whim might determine an abrupt sessation to our quasi-neutrality.

I've also fought and killed a number of other Hunters, some of whom don't provide engagement notices, some who chase me down whenever they see me log on, some who have stellar RP - all of which is honed with the intent to destroy me.

If Bounty Hunters were not able to know they have blanket bounties on (faction) pirates there would be more uncertainty, less desire to risk taking down the pirate because they might receive a sanction. The broad spectrum bounties reflect the players of pirate factions. How many Lane Hackers and Liberty Rogues never commit piracy?

And someone else gets a cookie because they get it. Attacking someone without a bounty on them, or while escorting someone as a bounty hunter, is PvP abuse. Pure, plain, simple.

I think Bounty Hunters should think about killing someone before, checking if he has a Bounty, then decide to attack him. Currently they can just attack anyone.

And yes I have been killing the Bounty Hunters. In one hour already 3 Gunships of them. One didnt say a bit, the other two only said "Engaging". Why am I complaining? Because I dislike PVP and Bounty Hunters lack of RolePlay.

Hmmm... I don't know, I've still had my share of good RP moments with the hunters... As for disliking PvP, have you ever thought that it contributes to RP?;) I'm pretty sure everyone would agree that a hunter that doesn't fight and gently asks a pirate to come with him is going to be a laughing stock. The same goes with pirates, you wouldn't just ask a trader to hand over money or cargo if you weren't prepared to enforce what you were saying. I've heard a few people say that they absolutely hate PvP before. As Stoat said, this game is a space shoot it up game at its core. Can you picture a discovery server where PvP wasn't allowed? As much as we all love good RP moments (And I'm a guy who likes his RP!), I couldn't even picture playing this game.

I can definately see where you are coming from... it is a little bit frustrating when a guy randomly shows up and instantly says "Alright engaging!" However, is it really so far outside of RP to do it? Would you expect a hunter to sit down, and carry out a conversation with a pirate? Or would you expect him to catch the pirate offguard and catch him while his defences are down? I think it is a debatable issue... although I always find RP moments refreshing. I myself just don't really like complaining about anything, because I can usually see where both sides are coming from. I hope some people can see what I was trying to say in this rant... :P
