Here's what I have so far - dont have engines on the model yet, or most of the turret mounts. Let me know what you think, and what in particular should be added.

Um... Yeah. It's just the old Destroyer with the surfaces flattened by the look of things. Most Bret ships have curves. The 'shell' bits are usually curved and ridged at the same time.
Anyway, the Bretonians are more in need of a heavy battleship/dreadnought than a battlecruiser.
Well, when looking at battlecruisers as the missing link between cruisers and battleships, then I see what you need to change.
The Bretonian battleship is rather long and bulky, while all smaller ships show this typical scheme of this fron section. I don't know how to say... this bridge between left and right, you know?
The battlecruiser should be the step between, maybe without the link, but with the metal things going out of the hull..
Take the original FL model and maybe work with it. Right now making your own front of the ship makes it look far too blocky and lego like.
Other than that, keep chugging along.
Frankly, Tenny, it looks too small, and very, very blocky and simplistic. I know this is going to hurt, but if you want my advice, take the Battleship concept and downscale it into something smaller and sleeker instead of trying to upsize the Destroyer. Regardless, you're asking for it by trying a Bretonian ship, these things are monsters...best of luck to you, sir. Incidentally, what program are you using? Those look like 3ds renders, but I've certainly been wrong before.

Needs more... Girth. Take some of the battleships designs and implement them into the destroyer design you have going, and curve the angles out around the sides.
I picture the battlecruiser being significantly longer, and the body wouldn't stay above the 'mouth' of the ship like it is right now, it'd be more linear if you know what I mean.
