Mkay, I haz idea for a faction. No, I dont plan to do this, unless you guys REALLY like it.if you want to do it, tell me , pl0x.
so, I had dis idea about a group of underfunded small ship abusing pirate and smuggler faction, more or less for fun.
WIthout Further Ado:
Throught the annals of Sirius History, there have always been small, Ill equiped bands of rather incompetent Pirates and smugglers. More or less, they broke down almost immediatly after stepping on the toes of a larger pirate cartel, or attracting the ire of the law. as Such, no real Organization exists amoung any of the groups, the leaders simply being the ones to stay alive the longest. Out of these bands, emerged a slightly larger and silghly less badly equiped band, the Independant league of Misanthropes. Consisting of Pirates flying scrap that made starfleas look luxurious, and smugglers flying slower peices of scrap, it is a wonder that these independant pirates survive long enough to be recognized.
Founded at the late 700, the Independant League of Misanthropes Provides the disenfranchised of the underbelly of the world a bed, and a bowl of soup. The bed is more of a piece of Upholstery crawling with bugs, and the Soup more water than anything else, but it's still there. Whats even worse, due to not checking the backgrounds of it's pilots, Most of the large groups of pirates see in them potential competition, and dont hesitate to fire on a possible traitor.
Subsisting on what portions of illegal trade they can capture, they do so greedly, but due to lack of rescources, their smugglers are never as well equiped as any other. THose who seek fortunes in mining often resort to blunt piracy to pawn off on the Balck market, and often never succesfully. the Pirate divisions on the other hand, pose little threat to anyone, and are often just beaten off like so many others.
SHIPS
Ships are limited to the Pirate line Sans Barghest, BW line sans Falcata, and all civllian craft.
We aint made o money, and ship choice must be reflected in this. As Such, CLOSED ECONOMY IS IMPLEMENTED. Which is to say, all money you use on your ship, must be made on that ship, other than a small starting allowance. The ships are segregated into three main groups, as follows, execept that a certain " Rank" amoung the men is required befoe the pricier craft may be implemented.
PIRATE
Rank 1: A HF, with ten million provided to get some gear at Barrier gate. Please note that it is not a VHF: a HF is required. want more cash? go pirate someone or sell some ore to transports. After enough combat missions are flown, the pilots Moves ffrom Being a rookie, to Being a Grunt
Rank 2: VHF, Bomber. all equipment must be provided to the grunt by himself. your old enough, go get teh cashes! DO not erase thine HF, it haz win in ship to ship.
Rank 3: Ptrans. you know your in the big leagues squad leader, and now you get a chance to prove it. Make yourself a ptrans, and make good with the cargo
Rank 4: Underboss, huh? Well, nothing good here execept an awesome title.
SMUGGLER
Rank 1: Bactrian, funded with ten million credits, is the staple ship off the small smuggling crowds. Offten vcaught, the Jailbird often never moves up. May Become a Pusher when 50 Credits are attained.
Rank 2: Ptrans, Smuggler IDed. Moving on up in the world after a lengthly sting in a bactrian, the Pusher ships his illegal good right where they are needed.
Rank 3: Ptrain: The longboatsman Ships collossal Amounts of contraband to build money, although he never seems to get any richer. Few in Number, Longboatsmen are extremly rare.
MINER
Rank 1: Rockboy. You have a basualt, now start making with the ore! If you can, snitch some from a rival prospector: Money is money after all
Rank 2: Prospector. May use any ship Except the Dusty that can raise ore, Naimly Mafic Dactie and Spatial. Keep the ore flowing, and soon your coffers will swell
Rank 3: Taskmaster. Run your men into the ground Operating the Cannons on your Dusty, and make the riches flow! Dont be surprised when your still dirt poor.
No gunboats, we ain got nuff money for dem
GUNS: Civilllian, Zoner, Junker, At's it. Nothing more. No. Well, Missles. Codes if ye can find em, but ah doubt you will.

Note these guys could kill ya at any time. Dont screw up. Make your stay on their bases short, and only if supplying them with a smuggler.

SMUGGLING POLICY
No Cardimine, No artifacts. This is a delicate truce we got going here with the outcasts and Corsairs, and shipping either one of their products could leave us dead. all of us. you dont want that, do you?

DOCKING:
Other than smugglers, Only dock on Zoner, Junker, Or freelancer bases. only places that will harbour us eh?
ZOI: Border worlds, Liberty , Rhienland, Bretonia. Zoner and junker bases on said areas.
