Hi I have a sujestion.

I was thinking the the way we can enforce the rules of a Clan system, it could sorta like be like Discovery Rule card FOr teh PvP and RP sever that u can buy on all the main planets. SO my sujestion is that you could put the rules deseginated by the system owners on these cards. And put them in every bace in the system, this could be a good way to inforce the rules of your system??

Yeah well, if everyone kept their faction status pages up to date, with all the relevant information posted there,
it should be ok.
Then again if everyone now playing actually came on the forums, and read the faction status thread, and made
sure they knew what was going on, that would be an improvement too.
Unfortunately no one reads the server rules cargo card now, what gives you the impression they would read a
faction system rules one ? Currently it would seem, there is rather a large contingent who don't read English
at all.
Have to enforce them the old fashioned way ... Shotgun Diplomacy has it's place here.

Its true, but I started out like that. I earnt 30 mil on solid missions before i visited the forums. Heh...oops.
But honestly, I reckon they just cannot be bothered to read it all, I know I couldn't when I arrived here. But still, they should be able to speak and type English if they want to play on this server. It annoys me alot when I try to pirate somone and they say "zu sprechen zi dutch?" (spelling?).

Shotgun diplomacy eh? I agree, its how Montoya deals with things in Gamma.

"You there, whats your business in Gamma"
"Why should I tell you?"

*enemy ship goes boom*

"WTF I DIDNT DO ANYTHING I'M GONNA GET U BANNED!!1!"
"Obey our rules and it wont happen again"

That is the jist of most of my conversations with people that come into Omicron Gamma when I am there. And its quite obvious that they havent visited the forums. Some do take it as RP and leave, but that certainly isn't the Majority.

When I first started playing here, I just stayed out of other people's hair until I got talked too. I didn't do much in the way of socialising and i find it hard to see why others who are new dont try to stay out of other players' way. All it leads to is confrontation about somthing, as they have no idea how much importance we place on the RP part of the server.

I cant say I blame them, because its not really their fault. Its just a lack of experience versus a lack of patience....Oh well, here I go again about the class/polarisation rant. I'll just stop it here for now.
