Comm ID: Alan Kell, Temporary Autonomous Zoner a.k.a [~V~]
Message to: All Zoners

Once again trouble has been brewing around Omicron Theta.
The SCRA, HF, GoR, AW and TBH are squabbling... which may be good for business.

If traders, bounty hunters or equipment purchasers are having trouble getting to any Zoner base, our neutral influence can and should be used to benefit Zoner profits.

I would recommend providing escort to anyone benefitting the Zoners(or anyone paying enough for safe transit). Naturally those being escorted are required to abide by a non-aggression deal.
If those being escorted start shooting at someone while they're under Zoner protection, they lose their escort rights.
If someone shoots at those being escorted, then they have the rest of the Zoners to deal with. Make every shot count, then call in the Mercs.

Naturally this idea does not apply in areas that have rules. For example, supporting a smuggler in house space is not recommended.

Supporting an unlicensed ship carrying Nomads is also not recommended(refer Nomad transportation ban). Many Zoner ships are already equipped to deal with Nomads. Infestation is always a risk and any unlicensed ship should be considered a risk when it's carrying Nomads.

As usual, Zoner bases are open for business to all who aren't openly hostile.
All are welcome in Omega 49, including The Brotherhood and Ghosts of Ragriz. The Temporary Autonomous Zoners would prefer no-one shoots at each other within Omega 49(not including wargames)... unless they wish to face some form of penalty, practical joke... or Eris.

Please use deniability when posting bounties on those attempting to pirate Zoner traders. Run the bounty anonymously though a third party.

The Veranda agrees, Alan.

Escort priority should be given to our own [~V~] ships; secondly to any Zoner ID'd and tagged ships, including AW traders who are on peaceful trading missions. Third priority would then be to any peaceful traders requesting said escort through disputed territories.

We also agree that Zoner planets, bases, and Freeports should be open to any vessels or factions who have taken the time, effort, and baksheesh to schmooze our Zoner brethren. (GoR vessels might have a time of it in Omega 49 due to all the Titans and Bounty Boys flitting about; but if they can make it to dock, we don't give a tinker's damn.)

The idea that one member of the Zoner Hegemony (AW) can "authorize" the use of Zoner bases anywhere in Sirius is downright laughable. Now, if the AW starts to "proscribe" useage of our brother bases anywhere in Sirius other than Theta and 74; then a full Council of Zoners should be called to straighten things out without a moment's hesitation. Hopefully common sense will prevail, and that won't be necessary.

We suggest this frequency be kept open for further comment from our TAZ and Zoner brethren; as well as for requests for escort service. As you suggested, however, bounties on any interlopers or miscreants should be handled discretely over separate secure channels.
