my point is, time moves on as does technology and design

for example

compare the Mig 15 fighter jet to the F22 fighter jet

and yes i agree that ships from shows although they are cool shouldn't be in Discovery but as for the custom stuff. what's to say that some ship designer couldn't put some revolutionary designs into their ship.

it's been, what did Igiss say, like 30 years game time since 1.0 freelancer. surely their could be some design changes

i have nothing against changes in ship design....but i think they should follow the patterns set up by the 800 years of shipbuilding in sirius.

of course. what i'd like to see is a whole new set of house ships. or a freelancer sequel.
