Terribly sorry for the late application, dear boy. Only just got back to the homelands. Can't stand the idea of missing out on an opportunity to thrash the oiks besmirching our fair Queen, not to mention taking a fair measure of revenge upon the lowly Kusari swine that destroyed my distillery, stole my ships and left me floating in space , peniless, with naught but a survival pod to cover my dignity. I do hope that I may be able to slip in the back door, as it were.

Ha! I'm mighty pleased to hear from a pilot that keeps his speech so eloquent! Hopefully your flying is half as practised as your diction! That means you're in, mate. I want to see you do well and liberate enough sake to make up for the loss of the famed Wright distillery. I still have a couple of ten year bottles stored on Glasgow...
Fit yourself with a fighter, preferrably a Templar, although a Hussar is permissible. Set your communications array to broadcast your callsign as per our naming conventions. Yours would therefore be as follows; [QCP]Fortunatus.Wright
Once the ship is in the skies, contact me. I shall be flying under one of the following communication signatures; [QCP]Queen's Ransom, [QCP]Andrew.Stuart or [QCP]Captain.Stuart
I shall then hop into our supply ship, the Queen's Ransom, and proceed to aid in the equipping of your fighter. Until then, keep your head down and stay out of too much trouble. I want to give a complete briefing before we fully engage.
A black-haired man entered the office with a limping gait favoring his left leg, a heavily patched bomber jacket, and a surprisingly clean beret, which he removed in hasty salute. "Umm, begging your pardon, sir, but the net was down and my message wouldn't go through. My name is Martin Barclay, and I suffered a leg injury on my first sortie, and was promptly transferred to flying a damned box, if you'll pardon my language.
"Not that I'm averse to flying a freighter, mind, but I didn't really feel like I was making much of a difference to the war effort by shipping plumbing fixtures to Cambridge! I can't say that I've much by way of raiding experience . . . but I'm willing to learn, and fly whatever you need me to fly. Provided it's not a Hussar, of course - no offense to Hussar pilots, but that thing is probably the ugliest fighter in the Queen's service.
"At any rate, I'm qualified in transports and fighters both, as well as bombers and the like . . . never flown a gunboat, but it's just like a transport with more guns & armor, right? Again, my apologies - I would've contacted you through the usual channels, but couldn't. I know I could better serve the Queen in your service than by running trivial goods and wares. All I'll need is a few days or so to finish out my current queue of cargo runs before I can begin."
(OOC: There's still a lot I don't know about playing FL online, so I'm going to create an independent, freelancing character to get used to what's different between SP and MP - thus the "a few days or so" =P )
Stuart was asleep in his chair, but, Juno had been leaning on the wall beside the door.
"The freight in Kusari Seems to have dried up, so we don't have much work for you....though....the Queen has merged the wing with a new fleet....called the Queen Carinia's Own. Find Admiral Richard Edward Windsor, should be somewhere on New London, working on the paperwork...look him up, will you?"
"Thank you, madame. I will do exactly that - please excuse me."
(OOC: Whoops, sorry about that - and I also apologize if Juno is a man, it just sounds like a woman's name to me. Probably just due to the similarity to "Juni.")
