Starflier Race - 3 winners with more than 220.000.000 $ rewards.

Hello pilots of Sirius.
I was thinking to start organizing some events with prizes for the winners. This is the first event and if it succeeds, I will make more in the future. Here we go.

CDEvent 1. Starflier System Race

Date and Time.
[color=#000000]28/03/2010 and 17:00 GMT

Requirements.
[color=#000000]Starflier ship, civilian ID and you have to be below level 30.

Entry fee.
10.000.000 $

Race route.
[color=#000000]Starting point : Planet New Tokyo in New Tokyo system.
Finishing point: Planet New Berlin in New Berlin system.
There will be 2 checkpoints. All racers MUST pass next to them without stopping.
A. New York system: Newark Station.
B. New London system: Waterloo Station.

Prizes.
[color=#000000]1st place: 100.000.000 $ + 3/6 from the entry fees.
2nd place: 70.000.000 $ + 2/6 from the entry fees.
3rd place: 50.000.000 $ + 1/6 from the entry fees.
Example
30 racers = 300.000.000 $ total entry fees. 300.000.000/6=50.000.000
1st place: 100.000.000 + 150.000.000 = 250.000.000
2nd place: 70.000.000 + 100.000.000 = 170.000.000
3rd place: 50.000.000 + 50.000.000 = 100.000.000

If you want to be a racer you must reply here after your entry fee payment and with your ships name. You must also write that you have read and accepted the rules.
Entries will be accepted from now and until 27/03/2010. All payments must be sent to CDE-Bank created for the event until the said date (27/03). By paying your entry fee means you accept the rules. Better read them before doing so.

RULES

1. If someone gives you credits to engage you, you can report him for breaking the server rules. If you finish your race and you are above level 30 because someone gave you credits you can still claim your prize.
2. PVP between the competitors is allowed. You cant report each other and this applies only until the race ends.
3. Disrupting lanes to slow your competitors is allowed.
4. Using jump holes is allowed.
5. You can choose your route but you have to go through the 2 checkpoints before finishing and claiming your prize.
6. If you die you can respawn and continue the race. So, make sure you dock to some stations for having more chances to win if someone kills you.
7. Names are unique. You cant take a name already given to another. Priority has the one who posted his number first. Numbers like 1 and 001 are the same. You cant have the number 001 if someone else has the number 1 and vise versa. 000 is not a valid number.
8. You can send a friend of yours to slow down your competitors but not kill them or engage them. Cruise disruptors are allowed since this is not an attack by the server rules. If someone breaks the server rules by attacking you, its up to you if you want to report him to the admins or not.
9. If the entries are less than 15, the event will be cancelled. If I cancel the event, the entry fees will be given back to the racers.
10. The starting and finishing message will be given by me when everything is ready.
11. Be outside New Tokyo planet at least 30 minutes before the race starts, come near me to check you ID and ship and then invite you in the racing group. If you leave the group for any reason you must come back to me to inspect you again before the race starts. To claim your prize as a winner you have to be in the group. Leaving the group in the middle of the race because of connection problems is not a violation and you can be invited back only by me. If anyone invites someone to the group without my approval he will be out of the race and there will be no entry fee refund for him.
12. If for any reason you are not there for the race, your entry fee will not be refunded.
13. The three winners must stay for some photos after the end of the race.
14. The only forbidden trade lanes for all the racers are the lanes in New Tokyo. Flying to the jump gate is needed to continue your race.

Advertise the race to more people. More competitors means bigger prizes for the 3 winners. Please be fair to each other and make this event a good start for more events to come in the future.

Your friends can CD your competitors but I prefer you not using this method to win. It is not fair and the rule is there only because we cant avoid it by the server rules. So please, dont tell your friends to stop your competitors. Keep it fair for all..!

The group inviting rule is there because I want only racers to be in the group so all can see where their competitors are. This is also a way to check if everything is ok with ships, IDs etc. Announcements like who passed from the checkpoints or who finished the race will be only in group chat.

For the freelancers, bounty hunters and mercenaries who dont want to race I have a job to offer. If any of you are in the systems of the race and see someone disrupting the lanes or slowing down the racers you can kill them and claim a bounty of 2 million credits for each bad guy killed. I will update this with more info so keep reading until 26/03.

I will also need 2 more people to help me with the checkpoints, ships checking etc.

Guten Tag mein Herr,

ah very bad, that this wonderfull idea was failed. Do you keep this idea in mind? i like races and it will be wonderfull, if you get this one a further chance in Future.
