Quote:5.9 Disconnecting from the server in a PvP fight to escape, as well as in any other situation that involves player interaction, is not allowed. If you lose server connection during a player interaction, you should get back in game quickly to continue the interaction, with the other player's permission. If that is not possible, then post on the forums and PM the players involved.
Please don't disconnect when interacting with another player. Fined equipment and credits.
I am the owner of The.Infinitum. When I was setting up my character, I headed down to Curacao, purchasing a yacht. I had 73 million credits on the ship.
So, when I was stopped, I began an RP. It was going quite well, generally introducing a new situation for my character.
When I was talking to him, something happened with my computer. It began to make an odd sound, Freelancer froze, and then closed. All of the windows I had open were closed, as well, and the wierd sound stopped after a few minutes.
I got back on, and apologized to the person I was interacting with. He said he thought I had F1ed, and then he said he didnt believe me. I didnt want to be falsely accused, so I asked Malexa what I should do. She said for me to post an apology in flood, stating the character, system, time, date, etc. And, I did so. She said that would be enough, as long as it didnt "magically" happen whenever a pirate stopped me.
