1st Sketch: Freighter

My first model in Google SketchUp. It is a freighter or something hehe. I know its ugly and its not even perfect symetrical, but, thats the best I could do:D.

First thing that comes to my mind is Civilian Freighter. It's like thouse civilian Trains, Transports but smaller.
I personaly like it.

The stick connecting the top engine pod to the ship seems too thin, especially at the scale this ship would likely be (judging by the cockpit). It looks like you're holding it on with a Starflier wing. The lower two aren't as bad, though.

An interesting concept, though, and worth working on more. Reminds me of the Camara.

I haven't played much with Sketchup, sadly, but I do know you can make things symmetrical somehow. (Somehow...)

Failing that, just finish up, export as a .3ds (I think it can do that, anyways), and toss the file into another modeling program to make it symmetrical.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Uhm-uh... SketchUp exports just .skt formats or something like that. I know it is the wrong program for FL models but its just for me to familarize with modelling.

I like it,
but the top wing, if u can call it like that, make it more like the bottom ones,
and u could use more round edges on the ship, its to .... its looks like..... cant find the right word to describe it.
