Hackers Vs. Hessians

they appear to be enemies... if you do missions for either, the other likes you less, i think its the same with killing ships though not 100% sure.

since they share allies, i thought this might be a mistake?

theres probably some logic to it somewhere... but it peaked my interest.

( i wasn't sure if this was in the right forum or not, unsure whether its a discovery issue or freelancer)

I might be wrong but I think that in Vanilla FL the Hessians were un-related to the Outcasts other then the fact both sides hated the Corsairs. (There is concept art floating about for Hessian specific ship deigns but likely got axed due to development constraints) It could be possible that there is rivalry between the Hackers and the Hessians.

Disco messed up some diplomatic relations - former enemies now are almost allies (like Corsairs, Mollys Hessians and IMG)

Normally teh h4x3rs wouldn't give a damn about the Hessians, because they'd never meet. Now - the alliance with the Outcasts should make them buddies (at least theoretically)

I meant a common relation between the said parties. Normally IMG wa "almost" on the Molly side against BMM - read some rumors and news on the Hood - IMG supplies the Mollys and gets paid in gold in return. Same thing with the Hessians on Freistadt - news state, that Hessians and IMG have much in common - former Rheinland miners either became Hessians or IMG after the popular revolution.

As for the Corsairs-Freistadt and Cardiff(Cambridge) were under constant Corsair attack in 1.0 times (not sure if still are, will have to check) and the infocard stateD, that BOTH corsairs and Outcasts were against IMG. Now - what happened when both the Mollys and Hessians joined the Outcast side - forget the commmon miner ancestry and start shooting?
