Bug Extraction
Closed RP and PVP event for official members only

Sentient Machine Alliance
VS
[color=#33CCFF]Galic Royal Navy

The Bug
Several months have passed since the Machine Alliance received any transmissions form their agent, ALPHA unit 69. The drone was sent to spy on the Galic government and military. Small, cloaked and cut off from even its own collective, it managed to infiltrate Royal Galic space by sending off false Galic IFF transmissions. It did not take long for the GRP to uncover the agent, however they had no success catching it. The agent was mostly unsuccessful, with numerous GRN and GRP patrols scouting every inch of their systems it was forced to perform long-range scans that gave away very little detail. It was not until recently that the agent had recovered a great amount of GRN military data from several other factions in Galia, such as the rebellious Council. This data led to only one conclusion... the Galic Royal Navy was preparing an invasion of Sirius, however they would be unable to proceed until the rebels had been taken care of.

There is yet hope
The sheer amount of this vital collected data was too great to be safely sent via on-board retransmitters. All Gates were heavily guarded and the soldiers were on the lookout for the SMA Drone - escape from Galia seemed impossible. The agent sent an extremely short encrypted message covered by static to the Machine Alliance, it had made every effort to keep the note hidden from Galic eyes.
(The message can be found on this page, post number 65)
Maybe it was fate that the GRN technical specialists would manage to catch this transmission that seemed at first like a fast radioactive cloud. It didn't take long till they understood its primitive encryption and managed to translate it... Several hours later, the Galic fleet was prepared for the Sentient Machine's assault. This would mark the begin of a great conflict between the two nations.

//OORP:

Sentient Machine Alliance Mission Objectives:

[color=#FFCC66]-Infiltrate Galic space with a small fleet. Do not attract attention of any other factions.
-Dispose of Galic patrols if necessary.
-At least one Cruiser Unit must survive and meet with Unit 69 to win.
(Only Cruiser Units have the required hardware to transmit the amount of tactical data this large.)

*Unit 69 will reveal its position to you once you enter the Burgundy system.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Galic Royal Navy Mission Objectives:

-Protect Burgundy from the incoming Sentient Machines, they must be blocked off from the very entrance to the system.
-Dispose of all enemy cruisers or find and eliminate unit 69 to win.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Date and Time of the event

-are currently not set. I will update this post once the potential solution has been found.
-Current suggestion from Exile is that we start this event around 20:00-21:00 GMT

Please tell us when you'd usually have time to participate in this event. As the time of the event is not yet set in stone I require your suggestions.

Only official members of both factions allowed.

If you're going to be in as GRN, you'll most likely fall under orders of the person executing the mission. Random people running about isn't how a facist military works.

As for the time.. As said before, the GRN is split between Europeans and Americans, so somewhere in the european evening/night could work out best. 7-8-9GMT0.
