Universal Shipping, Inc. Announces Restructuring

Planet Manhattan, New York System -- Universal Shipping, Inc. (NYSI: "USI") today is pleased to report changes to its corporate managerial hierarchy. The changes were approved Universal's Board of Directors earlier this quarter, and have entered into effect this week. As per internal policies, the new structure is to be made available to the general public today, following an embargoed announcement to Universal stockholders.

The new structure is designed to maximize work-time synergy and make even more efficient Universal's trademark and industry-leading Convoy Management System. Drawing upon successes within the Department of Security, the Department of Trade is pleased to implement a sister position to the Chief Security Officer; the Chief Logistics Officer. This new Chief Officer position will be filled by Universal veteran Lance Uppercut, captain of the train Long Island.

The changes at Universal come not long after a tumultuous first half with management voids and low revenue figures. With its new structure, newly-ascended President Michael Trenton is optimistic.

Mr. Trenton, longtime Vice President and captain of the trading vessel Boston, spoke to the changes with an eye to the future.

"We are all very excited for the new changes here at USI," he said at an open shareholders' meeting this afternoon. "With a better-defined structure and firm goals for the remainder of this year, I have no doubts USI will surmount our earlier challenges, and be better off for it."

Former President Denny Crane officially announced that he stepped down from his Presidency position last month. Mr. Crane, who resigned in order to spend more time with his family, remains with the company in a specialist-supervisor position.

When asked about the wisdom to appoint Mr. Uppercut into the position of Chief Logistics Officer, Mr. Trenton showed no hesitance in his response.

"Lance is a great navigator and has an excellent sense for situation. It's what you need in your fleet, and its exactly what we want our trainees to look up to. It was an easy decision."
