Zoner ID

I was actually feeling bad about attacking a Zoner ID Container Transport (no tag) and killing him because not only did he refuse to pay, but he opened fire. I don't know what it was, but he was very un-Zoner like, as I usually steer clear of Zoner IDs. Well, no more. Zoner IDs/tags, yes, I will not pirate, but just Zoner IDs (for the purpose of avoiding piracy) no.

This is nothing.. There was a police-tagged, Trader IDd, train that got pirated, logged on a Zoner-IDd, Rheinland Military-tagged, Adv. Battlestar and shot me on sight.. As well as all other pirates.. Zoners are not hostile to pirates.. This guy didn't have a clue what a Zoner was. Oh, and had Corsair BS turrets..

Ironically I stopped playing my TAZ character because no one ever pirated or attacked it.

It gives plenty of time to RP but from an excitement point of view it was like playing SP.

Many a time I just strolled right up to pirates and chatted to them about how busy or otherwise they were.

Not one ever asked me for any cargo or money.

I even thought about creating an anti-Zoner character who would hate Zoners and hunt them down (and maybe wake up some of the zoner players, who seem to be AFK most of the time) but decided whichever faction (player or NPC) I chose it would be deemed as OORP by the RP police on here.

I'm not quite sure what you expected when you joined us... You gave us a huge 4 part backstory, then pooped out.

Just let me know.. it'll only take a minute to edit the Faction Roster.

I tried to PM this to you but kept getting database errors.

I really am sorry. I never made a conscious choice not to play with my TAZ character. It is just that hours of not playign her turned to days turned to weeks. There was little or no draw to the character. I moved VIPs and synth marajuana around and around. I chatted and docked and chatted some more. After a while I thought an on-line chatroom would be more interesting.

I guess I'm not a trader at heart and TAZ has a great concept, but is essentially difficult to do anything other than trade.

I got to the stage of having the ship I wanted and all the gadgets I needed... also I had enough in the bank to power as many fighters as I could likely ever use. So my reasons for trading just stopped.

I appreciate you giving me a chance. You probably got me through the pain of being new on this server.

However I realise that my discordian tendencies are actually better served by being more subversive characters and that TAZ is much to much part of the establishment.

If you ever need payback for the time you have invested then I do recognise that I owe you one.

I think the way it is portrayed in the rumors is a good way to go. Pirates shouldn't "publicly" pirate Zoners, but if they catch them alone, they may very well go for it. Besides, NPCs pirate Zoners all the time.

Oh, and feel free to pirate any of my characters. One is Zoner tagged & ID'd, and one is Zoner tagged with a Freelancer ID, but I consider them both fair targets.
