Good day, mister Bridge. My name is Bernard Finch. We met once before, but I hardly can say that we had a chance to talk. To be honest, after the collaplse of former relations between Bretonia and Zoners I hardly trusted the Crown enough, even since I was born in Bretonia and lived there for years. I'm sending this message to you because the woman and my commander that I still trust more then anyone else thought highly about you. Well, if Kashiwaba Tomoe said that you are a good man, I think I can really trust you.
As a former captain of Zoner Defence Force, I took part in all the conflicts that led our Alliance to collapse, as well as was protecting my people even after. But the end of Zoner Alliance only opened a lot of opportunities for our enemies to show their real face. I can tell you a lot about the things that happened far away from Bretonia, but I will stress only few of them in this message. And I'm talking about thoose that should have a great interest for people who is protecting Bretonia from outer and innet threats.
As you may know, several weeks ago Zoners in Omicrons and Omegas were attacked by the armies of Corsair Empire. It was a tragedy for us and it was the thing we hardly expected. Thousands of people died in this war and many Zoners don't come back every day. Gran Canaria is filled with seats of agression between refugees from Crete and other locals. And the only organisation that did nothing against the Corsair threat was Bounty Hunters Guild Core - a fleet they hide in the Edge Worlds. Even more, they were aiding Corsairs in Omicrons Theta and in Corsair homeworld - Gamma. There were a lot of rumors about some kind of agreement between them, but nobody knew the truth.
Finally, few days ago Core, that hides after the good reputation of Bounty Hunters Guild, declared a war on Zoners in Omicrons. I could not aid my people there, but I will do my best to deliver this message to you. The only force that came to help Core fleet assaulting Freeport 11 was Corsair Empire. This is the file you should see:
Bounty Hunters Guild and Corsair Empire. They started xenocide of Zoners in Omicrons hand by hand. The Guild is helping the largest criminal cartel in Sirius. And Guildmasters shake hands with the people who are a direct threat to the lifes of Bretonian citizens.

Your mistrust is understandable after the recent regretful events, as many people around Sirius have spread more rumours and lies and turning this to a supposed diplomatic failure. Among those people, some of them for sure seek for Bretonia and/or Zoner's destruction; it is our duty is not to be deceived by them. Be assured that the Kingdom of Bretonia is open to discussions and will uphold its Words.
Your transmission raised mixed feeling. The evidences you sent about an alliance between the corsairs and -at least- a part of the Bounty Hunter Guild Core is highly intriguing : is this Moray wing seeking for instant and random assistance in the war against the Zoners, or did the corsair hire their guns ? Up to now there is a long way before we ever consider the whole guild responsible of felony though, since it only shows two individual spoking for themselves and not for their leaders. But should such event happening again, the BAF and the Bretonia Crown will take this question seriously. Until then, this particular issue will remain strict zoner business until more light is shed. I thank you for your concern and sharing this piece of information nonetheless.
Now even if there is little to say about the Bounty Hunter Guild, we still can talk about the corsair problem. The corsair aggression is no suprise really. They just showed themselves as they are : unworthy of your tolerance, and ungrateful of your material support -though I officially never approved this part either-. It is now clear that over the years the Zoner passive stance toward this creep only fed their confidence until they grown the courage to backstab your people. Now that the Zoners are ready to face the situation, it is time they consider their options.
Bretonia is discussing certain agreements with various groups of Zoners (I attached here an excerpt of the public part of the negociations). Even if we can't, for now, talk about the Guild much, we sure can find a way to reorganize the military defense grid in the Omega systems for the Cretan problem.

Good that you finally got my message, mister Bridge. I perfectly understand your attitude to the current situation in Edge worlds and the way it may affect Bretonia. Political and militaristic clashes in Omicrons are a bit far away from Bretonia, but it still can affect things here. And, back to the other things, I had access to certain documents describing the solution of Omega-3 incindent and future diplomacy, but I want to notice that any agreement concerning Omega-3 can't be signed only by thoose who live in other part of Sirius.
Freeport One lacked representatives in the last time because of all the panic caused by certain groups and the incidents that led to the dissolution of Zoner Alliance, but at the moment me and a group of former Zoner Defence Force officers are trying to sort the things out and organise regular supply routes as well as some kind of protection for thoose people. Any treaty of Omega-3 between Zoner communities and Kingdom of Bretonia can not be signed without their voice. And the only thing we need here is some time to help people to decide.
Since I can see a man in Bretonia who is tempted to solve the issues in reltaions between Zoners and Bretonia in Omega-3 the best way, I'm temted to say that I can see a good future for thoose relations.
It took some time, but finally, we did it. We have prepared a certain document and I will send it in the next transmission via secured channel to be sure that nobody else has a little chance to take a look on it. I think we can go much deeper in relations between Zoners and Bretonia then just declaration of good intentions from both sides. World is changing quite a special way and we definetly can't stay on old principles that were good for their time, but we can take it to the next mutually benefitical level.
your document eventually reached the highest rings of our government, and is subject to a great interest. This may indeed solve issues lasting for too long, far before the Omega 3 incident. For now little official stance leaked, but from what I've seen some people are favorables to keep the negociations going the way you proposed, including me. Now the outcomes are out of my sole control and the further official talks will be likely lead by a representative of the civilian bureaucracy, but you are still welcomed to contact me directly if you need something to be brought up faster than via the official protocol. After all the fastest we reach an agreement the better both of us will be.
