82nd Iron Griffins
Armed Forces Counter Offensive Combat Operation and Training Wing "Carina, Regina, Imperatrix!"
This is a proposal to create the 82nd Iron Griffins.
The Iron Griffins are split into two different wings. The 82nd Training squadron (82nd|Trainer.#) which will operate in the Sailsbury System for training of both primary and secondary fleet members as well as wingmen of the 82nd itself.
The main wing, with permission of the commanding officer of the Suffolk, will operate within territories out of main Armed Forces influence. These would be areas that the Armed Forces generally never operates. the Tau cluster being one of those areas. Secondary combat operations will be flown in the Omega systems in a joint operation with the Rheinland Military (upon establishment of the 82nd.) and secondary fleet forces. The 82nd will fly with the following 'callsign' 82nd|Rnk.Firstname.Lastname. The 82nd will also operate in special operations requiring the escort of a high government official, reconnaissance, as well as combat operations against terrorist cells in and around Bretonian space.
The ranking structure for pilots of the 82nd will be similar to that of the Armed Forces, with slight changes. We will be dropping the rank of Ensign for Lieutenant. Next rank would be Lieutenant Commander, then Commander, and finally Captain. As I will be leading the Wing myself, I would hold the highest rank that I held in the Armed Forces primary, Vice Admiral. As such, I am hereby requesting, upon acceptance of this proposal a seat in the Admiralty Board. Reasons should be clear enough.
I would like to remind the Admiralty Board that you have my S.K.Y.P.3 protocol identification username if you need to get a hold of me quicker.
As a final note, if any pilot within the Armed Forces primary fleet wishes to transfer to the 82nd combat wing, they are free to do so at the Fleet Admirals consent. However, this isn't necessary.
