Buon giorno brother.
I could not help but notice your reticent attitude towards the current state of affairs with the Zoners.
I believe, that, if we worked together, and managed to garner some support from the zoner base, we could persuade the Council to end this foolishness.
Are you with me? =END TRANSMISSION=

Hm...
Let's say, my friend, I'm quite sure Elders are stubborn on their opinions, and Miguel Sephardi definately isn't exception. To turn his mind, you'll need something bigger then words...
But if I might help you somehow, I'll gladly offer my service.
My current views of Zoner-Corsair war are rather neutral, as long as they stay out of our home. Zoners are quite usefulll usually, I should agree, however their two-sided politics doesn't allow me to trust them.

Buon giorno brother.
Thank you for your reply.
Stubborn though the council may be, they have not yet issued a declaration, and Shepardi's statements leave room for future Zoner actions.
What we must do, is two-fold.
First, the Zoners must be convinced that peace is their only option, and, unless they are too blinded to see the truth, this should be accomplished easily.
Secondly, we must gather other like-minded corsairs, and, with support from Zoners willing and able to negotiate for their kind, we must petition the Council for an arbitration and redress of grievances.
Should we convince the Zoners to come on bended knee, and the Council to hear them out in favor of a peace, this war might end before it truly starts.
