To the aforementioned parties.
I am forwarding a message to you on behalf of Freeport 10's Station Hall. They make the policy on the few matters Freeport 10 needs policy made on, making them for the lack of a better word... Government, I suppose. Message contained below.
Quote:
Good day gentlemen. We've been watching the Omicron Predicament for a while now, with growing anxiety. Aboard our own little bastion of warmth in the otherwise cold void, the divisions in opinion on what we should do have been quite, how to put it? Heated. As a matter of a fact, we've had to lock a pair up for starting an affray in the cafeteria on the matter. Clashes between the 'isolationists' and the 'expansionists', or somesuch.

I myself happen to be of the latter group, and of the persuasion that Zoners should stick together. We may not be have the physical clout of the Corsairs, which is precisely why we have to outmanoeuvre them elsewhere. You understand that we have no dedicated military force, and the few patrols we do employ are stuck doing just that - patrolling. Even if we did have an appreciable armed branch, we probably would not be able to dispatch them to you because of the divisions in opinion I mentioned earlier.

What we are doing, however, is renewing our supply links to Freeport 9 and other threatened stations. We have a top-notch water mining and purifying operation here, and we can crack oxygen from various processes too. We're tucked away behind the Outcasts, so there's literally no long-range repercussions the Corsairs can launch at us for supplying you. We will be contacting the Outcasts about exporting any goods they possess that may help too.

If you require anything at your station, name it, and we'll have it to you within a day. Food, oxygen and water will of course be delivered regardless of additional requests. We also understand that the Corsairs were previously Freeport 9's largest client group. I know this means there will have been a massive drop in your revenue, and based around this, Freeport 10 is more than willing to provide you with a loan for... Ah, 'aggressive business ventures' regarding hostile encroachment of your residential space. I would recommend hiring a third-party/parties to 'look into' ways of stopping the Corsairs.

I know Spokesman Lovecrepe doesn't like any of this, but if he gets vocal again, you can tell him to wind his neck in and do his job. Until you can find a peaceful solution to this matter - fight the good fight. You must hold them at bay should they launch an assault on your home! This was a lesson hard learned at Freeport 10 during it's construction and early years. The Outcasts regularly attacked us with the aim of extermination in mind. We barely held them off - but we eventually convinced them of our use. By exploring additional possibilities while similarly resisting hostile forces, we just about got through. Of course, we wouldn't have been able to do it without the mercantile support of Freeport 6. Let us be your '6.

A pleasure talking to you.
~Duncan Woadmen, Freeport 10 Station Hall.
Message completely transmitted above. So glad to have been of service...
