Ah senor, if only it was as simple as that. If indeed a simple offering of food could have defused such tensions, we would never have entered this protracted conflict with the Zoners. Unfortunately, things have entered a stage where simply pulling out is no longer a viable option.

Senor, your gift of food has been well received on the planet and shall be useful in feeding a considerable number of mouths. However, the days of our dependence on external food sources are numbered. The Empire is completing the construction of several biodomes in one of the systems adjacent to Gamma. But that does not mean we don't value your efforts.

As for your wishes regarding the Zoners, I believe that the Council of Elders has a definite plan of action in mind, which they are in the process of implementing. One of the steps of this probably includes a blockade on Port 9, and no amount of food rations is going to change that. But your gesture has been duly noted.
