OK, I'll wade in here. The purpose of being a pirate is to get easy money from the rich folk without alot of hassel. IE show up on unsupecting boats rattle your saber, grab the money and good looking wenches and be gone before the law shows up. You never heard of a pirate ship taking on a war vessel, that would require work and a real possiability of death, something pirates hate worse then cheap gin.
A terrorist is someone who wants to bring about change by causing terror and destruction, forcing people to bend to there whims to stop the terror. This never works.
Random destruction for the sake of it is a chaotic traite that forces everyone to hunt and kill you because your an ass. Life as this kind of a person may be sweet, but it's very short.
Decide what your going to be, announce it and let the rest of the people decide how they are going to deal with you.
