Well, speak only English in system chat. Speak whatever language you like in group or private chat if A. The other person can comprehend it and B. It's in RP.

I'd say a good guide would be this;
Libertonians/Bretonians/Zoners; English
Kusari: Japanese
Rheinlanders: German
Outcasts: Italian
Corsairs: Greek

Both the Corsairs and Outcasts are made up of Spaniards, Italians, Greeks, etc., and there's likely been so much crossbreeding between the ethnicities that there is no longer any real difference. Neither side is 'just' one or the other.

Frankly guys, I disagree completely. I believe their shouldn't be any ose of other languages on the server, except perhaps in prvate or group chat when all members fo the chat speak the language in question. I don't know what "Guten Tag" or whatever means, and unless someone gets strange desire to start speaking high-school french, I won't.

This has caused endless problems with the SCRA in the past, where after a standoff or something similar, a guy starts speaking russian to us, asssuming the only people who could possibly be "The Coalition" are russian. Every man-jack of us is an anglo, or they wouldn't be able to talk with the rest of us. Last time this happened, we took the guy under fire, and destroyed him, because we had no idea what he was blabbering about, and he fact that he was sitting about 100m in front of us, after his fleet was supposed to retreat.

Please, don't do it. It'll get you shot, and us shot, and generally be not worth it. Honestly, if you're tagged rheinland police, people will believe you. If you throw in an accent, but keep using english words, I don't see a problem with that. Its when the accent turns into full words tht we develop a problem.

Today I passed by a trader in my trader, and he said "hello", and "safe flying"(I think, forgot exactly what he said) to me in german, I don't know who it is, but that was nice.
