I thought more than one missile could target the same countermeasure? I think that's what Dab is saying.

That is what dab said. But it is far from reality. 3 maybe 4 missile can home in the same countermeasure. But no more. When i fought a missile cruiser, i was troubled because i ran out of countermeasures after 2 minutes of fighting. I won the battle though, but i lost mi weps in the process... (I just ran to the cruiser and fired the last 2 novas i had while their shields were down, that destroyed the cruiser and crippled my ship... even while my shields where up, the hull took 99% damage)
