Alright, so here is the situation I'm looking to reconcile. Right now on my account with Rogers is a note regarding a loss of service I suffered immediately after signing up and the possibility of compensation therein. What happened was the customer service rep who handled my sale and activation didn't actually activate my number or account, this lead to just under ten days with a $300.00 CAD handset that was effectively unusable.

I eventually did sort this issue and begin use of my plan, no complains there so far. But right now I'm looking at my bill and wondering if I should explore that note request to have my $35.00 CAD activation fee waved, or alternatively to explore the option of having options added to my account for free hopefully.

I've never really handled this sort of situation before and simply don't know what would be better, I doubt that Rogers would buff my plan with free services for an extended amount of time, but would that be smarter than waving the activation fee? I dunno, what do you guys think?

Depends on he price of the services. If its considerable higher than the activation fee, go for it.

What country are you in? I have never had to pay an activation fee for this sort of thing over in aus.

Canada, voted as having the worst cellular service in the first world. It's all sorted now, but thank you for the attention.
