On February 7th, 819 A.S., the Detroit Munition's Flagship, a Mastodon Supertransport named Blackstone, underwent its maiden voyage, and the maiden voyage of the newly-created Trade Division of the company. The Blackstone traveled to Leeds, where it delivered one thousand galactic units of Heavy Weaponry for the use of the Bretonia Armed Forces' Leeds Army.

In dedication to its first run, and as a humanitarian gesture, the Blackstone transported two-thousand, five hundred Leeds refugees to the refugee center on Planet Pittsburgh on its return to Liberty.

The Detroit Munitions Trade Division, which is still fairly small, was created to bring distribution of products to contracted parties under more direct control. While Universal Shipping will still handle most of the company's shipping, our own ships will handle the products being delivered to fulfill contracts we have signed with other houses and organizations. The rapid growth in sales has created the funding for this extension, and it is hoped that the credits saved by taking partial control of our own shipping will lead to the ability to handle all our shipping without relying on the services of other corporations in the near future.
