And I'm still under the impression that this should be in General Gaming. "Flood gets more attention" my posterior. Subforums exist for a reason... mumble mumble.

More attention at the cost of +0 instead of +1.

I want to get off Mr. Igiss' wild ride.

1404 A.D.

( Dawn of Discovery in North America)

Super great game. They have other ones too, 1701 A.D., 1602 A.D., and others, they're older, 1404 is the newest and has sexy graphics.

He'll be my Corsair if I decide to buy one of the Hispania Faction BS's in 4.86 (Sad, Outcasts are harder to find If I choose them =P)

I got V and it sucked up most of my free time for the first three months... ADDICTIVE game.

Pray for a good CPU with lots of civs and states, it takes a lot to process all those moves late game.

Though its hilarious to destroy nations with the Iroquois in forested areas, that boost is great.

I haven't played 5, but I've heard good things. I really enjoy 4, and I think that if you enjoy managing empires and winning cultural victories, Civs 4 might be your thing with religions and corporations. If you enjoy more combat, though, Civs 5 changed to a more strategic, Quasi Advance Wars style of combat, rather than the unit stacking of old, so that might be better. Personally, I like empires, so I resigned myself to buying 5 when it get way cheaper or there's an awesome Steam sale, so I suppose that's the difference.

4 if you ask me. Played both. When you use the unit stacking in 4 and then they brutally take that away in 5, meh. Oh and hexagons, never been a fan of them either.

I was just a tad disappointed by civ 5.
