Omega 7 related question

Hello! I have a question about this announcement: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=97671

For example, I know that Junkers are not allowed (by the server rules) to pirate in House Systems.
What about Omega 7? Until now it has been considered a Border World and thus, not house space. According to the above link, the lower part is now Rheinland territory, so, does that rule apply there too, meaning that Junkers can't pirate there, and if they do, they risk being sanctioned by the admins? Or is it just a RP thing, and the only 'sanctions' are enforced by the Rheinland Military?

Rheinland can try and claim it all it wants. Rulewise it's an independent system, so yea, junkers can pirate there at will (but can also be shot by the lawful factions at will - double edged sword)

Thank you for clarifying that, and for the kind thoughts. I was a bit uncertain about this because I pirated 2 Daumann ships near Briesen, and one of them started to PM me OORP, saying that's illegal, and to check the forums, because the RM posted that thing about claiming half of Omega 7.
I'm glad it's settled now, and thank you again!
