How should I word a request for a gentle sanction for myself? I'm tired of fixing my rep, only to find that there was another group in line before the one I wanted. (Ex. I was LN, then fixed it to get to LSF, only to find I'm now Interspace Commerce.)

If you are asking for a rep Change the answer Should be No.
Continue doing missions and aborting them, you will get there in the end.
