That name also comes with baggage. Doesn't necessarily mean a bad thing but understand that any history not properly researched will come with surprises. So please, if you are willing to fight to get the name (which isn't necessarily a bad thing) then I hope we don't see you in the future making threads because of what is inherited with that name. Now this will also mean trying to restrain yourself from falling into the belief that there is player hatred involved. As far as I know there isn't true abject hatred involved with that name, but in proper RP they made proper enemies. BLS showing up on an unknown enemy's scanners may illicit a combat experience you may or may not be prepared for. (naturally, of course, GMG| will be one of those shooting you down)

While I would like to see the BLS around again, this is not the way to do it and won't get you the approval of the community. Furthermore you would be constantly compared with the old BLS and I'm not sure if you can live up to that without even ever having been one of them.

As for the name, it really isn't that hard to come up with something similar that indicates the purpose of the faction but isn't a straight-away rip-off. Colour Flower Cartel. there you go.
