when ever u try to load up windows xp... like put it on the comp it crashes at around 40-50%... have tried 2 different cd's... any1 no what could be wrong?? im startin to think its the mobo but idk

yes... well first of all when the comp is starting up it says BIOS update data incorect... then when it gets to installing xp from the cd it says invalid program... but that doesnt make sence cuz my friend used the same cd on his rig and it worked... infact he used both of them that i had

Have you tried to reset the BIOS? To say like default, failsafe or original optimized values? That may be worth a try. Also was it flashed recently? You could pull the battery, or usually there is a jumper you move to wipe the BIOS and then return the jumper to the original spot. I had to do that a couple of times. Its usually around your chip but it may be better to find it with a manual for the MoBo.
