Greetings TAZ!

This is Ian Warner, I am a member of the Independent Miners Guild.

After the recent sightings of the Gallic Royal Navy in the Taus, we noticed several streams of refugees pouring into Orkney and Tau 23.
We tried to contact the refugee ships, but they just kept moving.
Zoners, traders and also some miners told us, that these ships were pirated or murdered by Outcasts, pirate groups and also hunted down mercilessly by GRN military vessel.

Since Java is a good spot to get an overview in Tau-23, we tried to figure out, what is going on with all the these people coming from Orkney. We started to make up a small squad which is protecting these people from getting pirated or even killed by all these creeps around, but we are lacking the necessary strength to do so. The people we were able to escort, made it to Orkney or Java where the IMG tried to find safe places where they could go.

Due to this, we already lost two of our ships, also a pilot. The Outcasts are still around Cali and try to catch everything they can.

We need a stronger defense, to make sure these people can move safely through the Taus.

So one of my comrades just had the idea to ask the Omicroners for some support. We really need a stronger force to protect these people in the Taus.

I am requesting the usage of one of your capital vessel, also known as the Fearless Destroyer.


We plan to use it to guard jumpholes and hotspots much better and provide more safety for those who seem to have lost everything and are still hunted down and killed mercilessly.

Kallisti Mr Warner,

After much discussion and careful consideration, I regret to inform you
that we cannot allow your acquisition of a Zoner "Fearless" Destroyer class
vessel. The Fearless is a ship of war and represents more than mere defense
in the eyes of the Sirian community at large.

However, this does not mean we do not wish to support your cause.
Save anything at Destroyer class and above we are willing to allow access to any
other technology we have to you. This includes:

- All Gunboat Technology (i.e Zoner "Conference" Gunboat class vessel and Zoner Gunboat Turrets)

The Conference Gunboat is renown for it's effectiveness as a defensive vessel, especially effective
in edge/border world systems which are currently being used by the Gallic refugees.

At any rate I hope we can accomodate you in the coming future.
