So..... I thought it would suck, and while the whole story line is pretty much a classic hero's quest, It was worth the watch. So, if you are an older Gamer with kids, its one to go see with them on a big screen and make their Saturday afternoon.

The Ships are pretty cool, it has a decent cast with above average acting for the type of movie it is. Been a long time since I saw Harrison Ford in anything.

It was funny to see the Cowboys and Indians team up and fight off the aliens.

Not a "Great Flick" but, I think you could classify it as good family entertainment and over all enjoyable.

Younger kids, MIGHT have a nightmare or two over it. The actual aliens are Fugly as Hell, and there are a couple of jump out of your seat moments.

Anyone else seen it? Thoughts?

Both those that you mentioned are set in the present, and in one the Humans have but all been destroyed and are just trying to survive.

In the other aliens invade and you follow a military squad in their engagements against the invasion.

The three have only one thing in common, invading aliens.

If you are gonna draw all those movies over the same line, sir I laugh at thee.

When watching movies I tend NOT to see it like the following: "It sort of maybe, perhaps reminds me a little of "that" movie... Therefor BAD!"

The movie was great, I enjoyed it allot.

Perhas I sounded too harsh, but for some reason the movie had a taste of Wild Wild West and Men in Black. The reason why I mention Skyline and the Battle for LA is because of the movie itself. I wasn't talking about story line, actors, time settings, etc. Just the way the movie "felt", I don't know what other word to use.
I am glad that some of you liked it. My own opinion is I am 100% neutral, I didn't hate it, I didn't like it.
