We totally need an option to enable Auto-turrets.

They'll be fired like something on a NPC cap, (except no Isis' LM trolololchain fire) they'll take energy from the ship as well.

Like, the auto turret won't be aimbot, they won't allow you to focus all your turret at one target, and they won't allow you to fire all guns at once. But instead they'll like, divide up the turret types for different types of ships.

So they'll auto spray a certain amount of solaris at fighters and bombers, while automatically firing pulses at Gunboats + up.

And of course, it should only be possible on Cruiser and up ships.

If anything, caps need a buff, not a nerf.

Cap fights last five minutes. Fighter fights last fifty.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.

Wait. for cap ships, there should be something like secondary targeting. you select a ship(s) for secondary targeting and all the turrets on the ship will fire at the same time at every selected ship. but in return the accuracy of every shot will be brought down 50% and so will the speed. and in this case I think that there should energy drain on movement. just to add an extra touch of realism

LIBERTY IS THE STRONGEST OF THEM ALL!!! oh wait, that's 4.84
Now you'll see. I'll predict the future. in 4.86 Gallia will launch a full scale attack on the houses! guess how I know.

As long as something like this can be easily turned off on other servers, have at it. Although I should point out that this would probably drive more players to the servers that don't use it.

I am not aware of another server that uses the current cruise drain, the others that I have been on just turn that junk off and play FL like it was intended.

Add a system such as Alt-<Number> or Alt/Shift/Ctrl-<Numpad Group> where that will give you a certain amount of time, in which 'shooting' a ship will simply tag it for the selected turret's autofire. This would make it quite the fighting force, though maybe not as accurate, and possibly make the guns shut down when the powercore runs out?

A million dollars isn't cool. You know what is cool? A basilisk.
