Cargo glitch on the RM gunboat.. And it is an issue.. I cant buy my RP cargo.

When you activate the mod, you have 3 options of how far you can see tradelanes and such.

I've set mine to high. After adding the new .dll, i see only 3 trade lanes, when i look from Norfolk in any direction.

I am not totally sure, but i think, it became reduced by the new .dll too.

Idiocy and blind spots. Hidden features for veteran players. Inform yourself here|Codenames and their locations

Alright, I'm gonna try to compile all the features and bugs of this new thingy here. Just so we can have a simple list of what's good and what's bad about replacing your old .dll-thing, you know.




Pros:
  • Improved widescreen support (fixed some graphical glitches, I guess)
  • Might allow people to connect to the server better (lower ping and stuff)
  • Cruise animations for Crusaders/Templars and Valkyries/Wraiths (folding wings)
  • Automatically timestamps screenshots
  • Shows actual number of regens on ships with more than 999 regens
  • Scanner data updates much faster
  • Selecting a different window while running FL in windowed mode no longer freezes the FL window
  • Turret zoom, Turret steering, and turret barrel-rolling is possible
  • Capital ships might not shake anymore when taking hull damage
Cons:
  • Text and HUD reported as being too big when using widescreen options
  • Negative cargo space glitch (Mounted weapons on some ships take up cargo space or something)
  • Game may or may not crash when using /renameme
  • Cannot enter "catch-up" speed when in formation
  • Connection or ping or whatever may actually get worse
  • -logappend, -nohud, and -noflighttext appear to be broken
  • Transferring credits via the trade menu might crash the game







Let me know if I missed anything. Personally, I don't think I'll be using this new file right now. As much as the new features sound awesome, I don't think I can live without my -logappend.

Hopefully things will get sorted out for 4.86, though.
